Third Generation’s a Charm

Critics are hailing the all-new, third generation Chevrolet Equinox as the best entry yet in the 12-year history of the popular small crossover SUV. The 2019 Equinox is just the right size and weight, having slimmed down for a redesign that is 400 pounds lighter than the outgoing model. The reworked exterior features signature LED daytime running lamps, while the restyled interior features a dual-cockpit design with an integrated center stack. The new Equinox is also a better hauler than ever, thanks to 60/40 split-folding rear seats that fold flat to create 63.5 cubic feet of cargo space and an available hands-free gesture liftgate.

An Array of Engine Options

Customers have their pick of the litter when it comes to the powertrain of the 2019 Chevy Equinox. The available 1.6-liter Turbo-Diesel engine yields a remarkable 40 mpg on the highway, and will be available late summer of 2017.* For a more exhilarating drive, the 2.0-liter turbo engine is paired with an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission, offers 252 horsepower with 260 lb-ft of torque, and has the capability of towing 3,500 pounds. Striking the perfect balance between performance and efficiency, the 1.5-liter turbo manages 32 mpg on the highway.* No matter which you choose, fuel-saving stop/start technology comes standard on all three engine options.

Safety Features Galore

You’ll feel safe and secure in the 2019 Chevy Equinox, thanks to the ten safety technologies offered by Chevrolet. Front-facing safety features include Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, while rear-facing features include Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Change Alert, Rear Park Assist, Rear Vision Camera, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Other available safety features include Safety Alert Seat, Surround Vision, and Intellibeam Headlamps.
