The base engine on the Acadia is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard on the SL, SLE, and SLT-1 models. The SLT-2 and Denali trims come with a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. However, this powerful engine is also an optional choice for the SLE-1, SLE-2, and SLT-1 trims. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive as an option on all trims.
