The Chrysler 300 comes with a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine with 24 valves and Variable Valve Timing (VVT). This engine generates 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and it is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 5.7-liter V8 HEMI® MDS VVT engine is also available for the 300S trim, and it generates 363 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped with the Pentastar® engine, the Chrysler 300 gets 30 highway mpg.* Other performance features include the four-wheel independent suspension and available Sport Mode.
