Chrysler is always innovating and bringing new and exciting features to drivers. The 200, 300, and Town and Country all celebrate Chrysler’s 90th anniversary with special packages including cool new features. While the 2016 Chrysler models didn’t see big updates to their technology and features, there is one big change coming this year: the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid.
The anniversary package optional on Chrysler’s three 2016 models include a panoramic sunroof, remote start, and new infotainment features, plus some mechanical changes that make them lighter and lead to better fuel economy.
The Pacifica hybrid required an all-new vehicle platform and contains a lithium-ion battery from LG Chem. It will be the first hybrid minivan in the industry and is estimated to have an equivalent of 80 mpg in the city. The innovative LG battery will take as little as two hours to charge fully and has an all-electric range as well as functioning as a regular hybrid.
